A guide on Sutra recitation
先靜坐三分鐘,調順呼吸,收攝心神。
Meditate for 3 minutes ,regulate your breathing, focus on your mind
眼觀經、手指經、口吐經、耳聽經、意在經、鼻孔自然呼吸,不徐不疾。
Eye focus on the sutra, finger points on the sutra, recite the sutra, listen to the sutra, mind concentration, breath naturally and unhurriedly.
Sutra begins in your heart, clearly and peacefully
經從眼中過,明明白白。
Sutra passes your eyes, with clarity
經從口中出,字正音圓。
Sutra comes out from your mouth, clear words and sound
經從耳中入,靈靈寂寂。
Sutra enter your ears , clearly
經從竅中落,落地有聲。
Sutra enters your conscience and clearly heard.
2020/12/03(三)克己,是戒律的起步之1——濟公活佛慈語:我們學聖賢之道,第一個是「克己」的功夫不能讓。什麼是克己?克制自己一切的慾念雜想。不是你本份該去想的叫「妄想」,所以要用克己的功夫來對治它。如何克己呢?一、冷靜。這不是一次就能冷靜下來,是要慢慢、要功夫的。二、意守玄關。三、凡事都是自己的錯,所以要並用三寶。四、將心比心。五、替換定律。不急不緩,做到中庸之道。六、反求諸己。凡事先想一想,仔細思考是不是自己的錯?修道是要對自己有所要求,而非讓仙佛來要求你們。
(三)克己,是戒律的起步之 (1)
濟公活佛慈語:我們學聖賢之道,
We learn the sage's way,
第一個是「克己」的功夫不能讓。什麼是克己?
We learn the sage's way, and the first point is that the degree of effort of "self-restraint" cannot be regressed. What is the meaning of self-restraint?
克制自己一切的慾念雜想。不是你本份該去想的叫「妄想」,所以要用克己的功夫來對治它。
It's about restraining all your thoughts. It's not the one you should have; you're going to think of it as "delusional" so use self-restraint to control it.
如何克己呢?一、冷靜。這不是一次就能冷靜下來,是要慢慢、要功夫 的。二、意守玄關。
How to self-restraint? First, we need to stay calm and one time is not enough; do it step by step and slowly, and put in more effort. Second, guard the Xuan-guan (the Heavenly Portal).
三、凡事都是自己的錯, 所以要並用三寶。四、將心比心。
Three, everything is our own fault, so we need to use three treasures. Four, put our self in someone's shoes.
五、替換定律。不急不緩,做到中庸之道。六、反求諸己。
Five, the law of substitution. Do not hurry, does the Golden mean: do not offset, not more than or not be less either. Six, reflect and try to find fault in our self.
凡事先想一想,仔細思考是不是自己的錯?修道是要對自己有所要求,而非讓仙佛來要求你們。
No matter what you think about in advance, is it your fault to think carefully? Cultivating Tao requires more effort and not only do when being asked by Buddha.
修道最主要在於「用心」與否?其 實,道就在日常生活當中,有人去行了,就有所體悟,
The main thing in Tao cultivation is " sincerity?" In fact, The Tao is in everyday life, when someone goes to practice, they could have some Consciousness level insight,
孟子曰:
Mencius
孟子‧告子上「人性之善也,猶水之就下也。人無有不善,水無有不下。」
Mencius said: " The goodness of humanity is as natural as water flowing down. No one is unkind like no water doesn't flow down.
孟子說:「人性向善,如同水往低處流。人沒有不善良的,就像水沒有不向低處流的。」
Mencius said: " The goodness of human nature is born in this way, like water flowing down. No one is unkind like no water doesn't flow down. Human nature is inherently good, due to the influence of the external environment, there is a difference between good and evil. So good and evil are between one thought
省思
Reflection
人性向善,猶水就下,人人皆具惻隱、羞惡、辭讓、是非四心,
The goodness of humans is as natural as water flowing down. Everyone has four hearts of compassion, shame, resignation, right and wrong
若能時時回歸反省,在逆境當下轉念,克己復禮,即是學習聖賢之道,涵養浩然正氣。
If you can always return to reflection, in times of adversity, change your mind, hold yourself and return to courtesy. That is to learn the way of sages and cultivate righteousness.
結論
Conclusion
師尊慈語:在修道辦道中, 應不斷的提昇自己,鞭策自己,
Patriarch's kind words: In Tao cultivation, you should constantly improve yourself and spur yourself,
方能充實德性慧光, 而減少因果業力的牽制。
Only then can we enrich our virtue and wisdom, And reduce the restraint of causal karma.
