讀經的方法
A guide on Sutra recitation

先靜坐三分鐘,調順呼吸,收攝心神。
Meditate for 3 minutes ,regulate your breathing, focus on your mind

眼觀經、手指經、口吐經、耳聽經、意在經、鼻孔自然呼吸,不徐不疾。
Eye focus on the sutra, finger points on the sutra, recite the sutra, listen to the sutra, mind concentration, breath naturally and unhurriedly.

經從心中起,清清淨淨。
Sutra begins in your heart, clearly and peacefully

經從眼中過,明明白白。
Sutra passes your eyes, with clarity

經從口中出,字正音圓。
Sutra comes out from your mouth , clear words and sound

經從耳中入,靈靈寂寂。
Sutra enter your ears , clearly

經從竅中落,落地有聲。
Sutra enter your conscience, and clearly heard.

(五)什麼是逆考?理念爭執。-3 濟公活佛慈語徒兒啊!大家要想想,今天咱們行道辦道都是「無為而為」。

Children! Let's think about it, today we practice and propagate Tao is a form of selfless act

而不是為了誰才來修道辦道。今天咱 們行無為的功、立無為的德,心中不要有所障礙;

It is not for whom we practice or preach. We carry out our duties selflessly that may not have returns,, therefore, we should understand this clearly and not limit ourselves

不要一定要讓誰看到我怎樣、嘉獎 我什麼,我才能行得更好、做得更好!

Not needing anyone to see our effort or reward us in order to performer better

同修之間要互相鼓勵。為什麼你會 被冷落?自己要想想,是不是自身的問題?

Encourage each other more often. If you think you are being left out, reflect upon yourself and think if it's your own issue.

是自身不能跟人家相處、不能圓滿? 人家跟你在一起有壓力、有負擔?

Are you not able to get along with others? People find you burdensome and become stressed when working with you?

這些咱們一定要想想自己,從自身 開始改變;如果狀況還是一樣,咱們就要「看開一點」。

We must reflect ourselves and change from ourselves. If you have changed but the situation remains the same, then learn to let go.

人間的人可能看不到我,天上的佛 卻是一目了然。

People on earth, they may not see me, but buddhas in heaven can see every bit of mankind. Do nothing yet everything will be done.

《道德經》中說,無為才能有為,有為而無為,哲學的思維思想很抽象的。

《Tao Te Ching》: Inaction can do something, do something but do nothing, the philosophical thinking is very abstract.

現實生活中,人總是無時無刻為自己能有更好的生活而努力,而想有所為, 可結局卻無所作為,那麼為什麼會這樣呢?

In real life, people always work hard for a better life all the time, and want to do something, but in the end attain nothing, so why is this?

老子:聖人處無為之事,行不言之教, 處眾人之下,成眾人之上,無為而有所為。

Laozi: The sage accomplished by doing nothing and taught without words. Under the crowd, above the crowd, do nothing yet everything will be done.

「無為」是一個哲學概念,不能從字 面去理解。

「 Inaction 」 is a philosophical concept that cannot be understood literally.

無,在哲學上表示無形、無名、虛無等, 或指物質的隱微狀態,意思是一種不顯形、不著痕跡的東西。

'Wu' may mean invisible, nameless or void in philosophy; or it can refer to the subtle state of matter, which means something that is not visible, and untracable.

為,指行為、作為。 如《老子》說:「天下萬物生於有, 有生於無。」

'Wei', refer to behavior or an act. Ex. 《 Laozi 》 :"All things in the world are produced by being. And being is produced by non-being."

意思是,天下的萬物產生於看得見的有  形質,有形質又產生於不可見的無形質。可見,「無」不等於「沒有」。

It means that all things in the world are produced by visible tangible matter and tangible matter are produced by invisible matter. Therefore「unseen」does not mean 「nonexistant」.

無為,是一種「順應自然」的作為。 經過有為的思考,以時勢、趨勢的判斷做出順勢而為的行為,

Inaction is an act of 「compliance with nature」. To act accordingly after thoughtful thinking and judgment

即順應自然的變化規律,使事物保持其天然的本性,從而達到「無為而無不為」的境界。

It is to conform to the law of natural change and keep things in their natural nature, so as to achieve the state of 「do nothing yet everything will be done」

結論 Conclusion

修道的開始:

    1. 從自身改變。

Beginning of practice Tao: First. Change from yourself.

    1. 行無為的功、立無為的德。
    2. 看寬、看遠、看淡。

Second. The merits of doing inaction and the virtue of establishing inaction. Third. Look wide, look far, and look weak.
