A guide on Sutra recitation
先靜坐三分鐘,調順呼吸,收攝心神。
Meditate for 3 minutes ,regulate your breathing, focus on your mind
眼觀經、手指經、口吐經、耳聽經、意在經、鼻孔自然呼吸,不徐不疾。
Eye focus on the sutra, finger points on the sutra, recite the sutra, listen to the sutra, mind concentration, breath naturally and unhurriedly.
經從心中起,清清淨淨。
Sutra begins in your heart, clearly and peacefully
經從眼中過,明明白白。
Sutra passes your eyes, with clarity
經從口中出,字正音圓。
Sutra comes out from your mouth , clear words and sound
經從耳中入,靈靈寂寂。
Sutra enter your ears , clearly
經從竅中落,落地有聲。
Sutra enter your conscience, and clearly heard .

呂祖純陽慈語再打個比方說，你們現在對於蘇武了解多少？
For example, how much do you know about Su Wu now?
蘇武盡其烈，李陵污其奸是嗎？「李陵這大奸臣黨就這樣子降伏了，咱們不服。」
Su Wu's style of action is strong; Li Ling this person defaced him as one of a corrupt official, right?
" Li Ling this man, he himself is belonging to a big traitor's party, because of the integrity of others and then weak down his own official style, we can hardly believe that. 」
還是這個蘇武好，十八年如一日， 所以這個蘇武的精神好。」
I still think Su Wu this person is good, eighteen years as a day, so this Su Wu's keep on, lasting spirit worthy of respect. 」
相較比對起來是不能比的是不是？ 你們知道知不知道李陵他的戰績， 他的偉業，
By contrast, the two are incomparable, are they? Do you know what Li Ling has on the battlefield, what's his record? What's his greatness?
他收復的國土有多少？不知道吧？難怪這樣誤會他，
How much land did he have recovered? People don't know, do you? No wonder so many people misunderstand him like this.
不以成敗論英雄，也不要因為人家的一件事情而評斷，
We don't judge a hero for success or failure, and we do not make a comment just for the single event he's ever done,
若是沒有李陵，當初就沒有辦法收復那麼多的國土，
If there were no Li Ling this person, there would be no way to recover so much national land,
在將軍之中也只有他最威武， 直接殺到匈奴王的面前，所以功不可沒。
Of all the generals, he was the most powerful.
He was able to directly attack the military force in front of the king of Huns, and so he was contributed in the dynasty.
該褒揚的還是要褒揚，這就是修道人要隱惡揚善。
The praise is that should be praised, this is the cultivators of Tao should learn the lesson of hidden evil and preaches the good.
這些事情不要記住，這是人家的事情， 不關你們的事情，不管人家的功與過， 不要記住，
These things don't need to be taken too seriously, it's a matter of people, and it's not something you have to do. We don't need to care about other people's merit and fault; these things do not always hang in mind.
只要記住自己的「那一念」，做得是否對得起自己，
The important thing is to remember your " initial thoughts" Whether what we do is right about our conscience.
人家的好事可以發揚，可以作為參考，這樣明白了嗎？
What other people have the good things done can be carried forward; can be used as a reference, so understand?
關於歷史
About history
蘇武不死,適見其忠； 李陵不死,終成為叛。
Su Wu doesn't dead, can see his loyalty Li Ling doesn't die and eventually becomes a traitor.
Su Wu, the most famous patriot in Chinese history. Li Ling, the best-known traitor in Chinese history. But these two are still good friends. Life is such a drama.
改變蘇武一生命運的第一個重要時間點是公元前100年。這一年,他以正使的身份出使匈奴，結果被扣,
The first important time point to change Su Wuyi's life is 100 BC. This year, he sent the Huns as an envoy，the result was detained,
直至19年後才得以歸漢，並因此而名垂青史。
until 19 years later that he was able to return to the Han Dynasty, and go down in history.
改變李陵一生命運的重要時間點則是公元前99年。這一年,漢武帝派大軍討伐匈奴,
The important time to change Li Ling's life was 99 BC. This year, Emperor HanWu of the Han Dynasty sent a large army against the Huns.
只安排李陵做個押運糧草的後勤官，李陵不甘心,和武帝慪氣,率領5000步兵獨自去討伐匈奴,結果戰敗被俘。
Li Ling was only arranged as a logistics officer to escort the grain and grass, Li Ling was not reconciled, frustrated with Emperor HanWu, led 5000 infantry to fight alone the Huns defeated and were captured.
李陵因這一戰而成名,也因這一戰而改變終身。他起初應該是詐降,但因武帝滅了他全家,導致他真降。
Li Ling became famous for this battle and changed his life for this battle. He should have pretended to surrender at first, but because Emperor HanWu destroyed his family, he really surrendered.
李陵心裡很苦,但卻無人訴說。尤其是當蘇武歸漢後,對他的打擊更大。
Li Ling was very bitter in his heart, but nobody can talk. Especially when Su Wu returned to Han, hit him even harder.
改變蘇武的第二個重要時間點就是公元前81年。這一年,漢武帝已經去世6年,輔政的正是李陵當年的好兄弟霍光和上官桀,
The second important time point for changing Su Wu was 81 BC. In this year, Emperor Hanwu had passed away for 6 years, supporting politics is Li Ling's good brothers Huo Guang and Shang Guanjie.
他們派使者過來,本是說服李陵歸漢的,卻不料發現蘇武還活著。結果,李陵沒回,蘇武回了。
They sent envoys to convince Li Ling to return to the Han Dynasty and found that Su Wu was still alive. As a result, Li Ling did not return, and Su Wu returned.
蘇武回到漢朝,並沒有過上好日子, 先是兒子參與了霍光上官桀兩親家的政治鬥爭,遭受血洗。
Su Wu returned to the Han Dynasty and did not live a good life. First of all, his son participated in the political struggle between Huo Guang and Shang Guanjie's family, suffer persecution.
Huo Guang released Su Wu, but his official position was gone. Until Huo Guang's death that the Emperor Han Xuan who personally took charge of politics re-appraised Su Wu to enable him to spend his old age.
蘇武於公元前60年去世,活了80歲，算是高壽了。或許是因為心情的緣故,比蘇武小的李陵沒有活過蘇武,
Su Wu died in 60 BC and lived 80 years old, which is considered a long life. Perhaps because of the mood, Li Ling, who was younger than Su Wu, did not live in Su Wu.
於公元前74年去世,大概六十多歲吧。按當時的年齡,應該也算是正常的。
He died in 74 BC, probably in his sixties. According to the age at that time, it should be considered normal.
Although Li Ling staying in the Huns lived very unhappy, but Dadan Yu valued him very much and took his daughter Tuoba married him and was considered a member of the Huns core layer.
終其一生,李陵對政治沒啥興趣，但並不妨礙他的後代染指政治按照匈奴的習慣，李陵的後裔姓了拓跋。
Throughout his life, Li Ling had no interest in politics, but it does not prevent his descendants from participating in politics. According to the habits of the Huns, Li Ling's descendants have Tuoba.
大約在漢宣帝末年,李陵後裔的拓跋部落通過聯姻等方式,形成了一個鮮卑拓跋部。
Around the last year of Emperor Han Xuan, the Tuoba tribe of Li Ling's descendants formed a Xianbei Tuoba tribe through marriage, etc.
幾百年後,這支部落建立了北魏。公元450年,北魏發生了一場慘案,

北魏皇室霸占了李陵後裔的拓跋姓氏,為保存家族,李陵後裔又恢復了李姓。
The Northern Wei royal family occupied the Tuoba surname of Li Ling's descendants. In order to preserve the family, the descendants of Li Ling restored the surname of Li.
